$PEPE — feels good, man

📌 PINNED LORE: On 21 May 2026, pump.fun introduced USDC pairs into the ecosystem. $PEPE was the first USDC pair on-chain on Solana. We were here for it.

>be me

>mfw pepe is back, and he's blue

>mfw the rarest pepe is also the comfiest pepe

Pinned thread for the $PEPE community on Solana. Drop facts about Pepe, Matt Furie, the chain, USDC, whatever. No racism, no politics, no Nick. Just frog things. CA in OP — BQEfA6Hr…SPCpump.

Pepe and friends

>>1000001

Fun fact about Pepe #1: Pepe debuted in 2005 in Matt Furie's zine-style comic "Boy's Club", a slacker-stoner strip starring four roommate monsters — Pepe, Andy, Landwolf, and Brett.

The "feels good man" line is from a single panel where Pepe pulls his pants all the way down to pee. that's it. that's the meme. >feelsgoodman.jpg

Pepe self portrait

Matt Furie lore drop:

>born in Columbus, Ohio

>art school dropout, worked at a daycare

>drew Boy's Club in pen on printer paper, posted it on MySpace

>also illustrated a kids' picture book called "The Night Riders" about a frog & a rat on a bike

The "Feels Good Man" documentary (2020) is the best primer on how a chill cartoon frog ended up where he ended up. Matt's the GOAT.

Pepe trader

USDC primer for the newfags:

>issued by Circle, launched 2018

>1:1 backed by cash & short-term US treasuries

>native USDC lives on Solana too — not just a wrap

Pair $PEPE with USDC if you want to take a sleep break without watching a candle, anon. It's literally the calmest thing on the chart.

Many pepes

Fun fact #2: Rare Pepes were one of the very first NFT projects in crypto history. Back in 2016 people were minting Pepe trading cards on the Counterparty protocol — on Bitcoin — years before "NFT" was a word your aunt knew.

>buying jpegs of a sad frog in 2016

>told you were wasting money

>some sold for six figures later

Pepe cop

Furie defended Pepe in court: Matt Furie successfully sued Infowars in 2018 over an unauthorized Pepe poster, and went after a children's book that misappropriated the character. He took copyright of Pepe seriously even while the meme ran wild.

also: in 2017 he literally drew a comic where Pepe died, in a symbolic attempt to take the character back. didn't stick. you can't kill a frog, anon.

Super Pepe

Fun fact #3: Pepe is genuinely loved in Hong Kong. During the 2019 protests he was adopted as a chill, sympathetic mascot — protestors painted him on signs and stickers. Many of them had no idea about the western drama around the character. To them he was just a cute sad frog.

>same image, opposite meaning, depending on continent

memes are funny like that.

Pepe chart

Fun fact #4: $PEPE on Ethereum launched in April 2023 with a stealth fair launch — no presale, no team allocation. It hit a billion dollars in market cap in under 3 weeks. Anon turned $250 into life-changing money on the early entry. The frog runs deep.

>mfw Solana version is faster, cheaper, bluer

Hooded analyst Pepe

USDC fun fact: in March 2023, USDC briefly depegged to about $0.87 when Silicon Valley Bank — where Circle parked a chunk of reserves — collapsed in a single weekend.

>diamond hands held

>peg restored in 48 hours

It was the most exciting weekend a stablecoin will ever have. Slept through it? Couldn't be me.

Pepe at the pub

Boy's Club trivia:

>only four issues ever printed (2006-2010)

>originals were photocopied minicomics, distributed at indie comic shows

>Fantagraphics later collected the whole run

Single-digit pages a month, and somehow the most influential character of 21st-century internet culture came out of it.

circle (USDC) is headquartered in Boston, audited monthly, publishes a reserves report. Tether (USDT) is whatever Tether feels like that week. pick your fighter.

>tldr: USDC is the boring choice and boring is good

Loving pepe

Furie fun fact: Matt's other characters are amazing too — he co-created "ZOGZ" trading cards and has a whole cast of weird creatures (Charlie, Landwolf, Brett). He still posts new Pepe art occasionally on his socials. The man is genuinely just a sweet cartoonist.

>respect the artist

>buy his stuff
